I was purely pointing out the fact that gold is not in bear market that will last 'decades'. Quite the opposite in my view.

i have stated many times, I compare gold to currency not the Dow. There are certainly points in time gold is a better investment over the Dow or other indexes (like now), but over a lifetime you should do better in the Dow. 

Gold = real money. You may disagree, but it's only been 50 years since the USD has debased against gold and since that time it's been slowly unraveling. It will go back in some form or fashion in the future could be this decade or next century but it will happen. Greed can only last so long before the infection needs to be killed
