How many times have I heard that? Hundreds. I'm right in the 'short term', I've been right for years.

The fact is Dow companies make and produce things and they pay dividends. What does gold do? Nothing, it stays in a safe, costs heaps in premiums and pays no dividend. If we all 'invested' in gold the World financial system would collapse, a self-fulfilling prediction.

As it is Boeing are continuing to make thousands of aircraft in a booming aviation industry, lots are discovering the pleasures of Disney World (including my family), Caterpillar are churning out machinery for the property boom, and Visa are coining it because of globalisation et. al.

You can hunker down for the great global financial implosion but I won't be.
