Quality Commercil Property has been and continues to be a way better investment than Gold. As a so called ‘store of value’...(a ridiculous concept) quality commercial property has been way better than Gold.
Residential property is an entirely different animal, and imo is not an investment quality asset. As it happens, in recent decades it has also killed Gold, even with the minor price falls recently experienced. Prices may fall further (who knows), however they would have to fall a lot to be worse than Gold.
