I beg to differ and countries and banks are certainly protecting themselves against this scenario. Of course there's enough gold, it just needs to worth a considerable amount more and probably move away from the Troy ounce measurements to metric, just like the Chinese Panda coin equalling 30 grams. If we're measuring in milligrams it's quite easy to see how it would work.
And it doesn't mean there's no debt and inflation it's just controlled better within guidelines of population growth and gold production. It's certainly not rocket science
