You said funny about how it was upgraded in Basel 3 after gfc- shown to be false gold was always tier one and capital 3 depending on how it was held in Basel 2 which came
Out 2004 way before the gfc

Gold now- in Basel 3 can be considered like basel2 a tier one asset , but again like last time it’s a lower tier- instead of a category description depending on how it’s held

Basel3 and gold being from Basel 2 is false and no reason to justify buying gold

Moreover as those ppl claiming it does, they don’t even understand that central banks aren’t subject to basels

And finally- if the same people
Claiming it’s upgraded which it isn’t , are the same now predicting big moves suddenly by banks days before the changes flagged since 2013 come into effect - they have rocks in thier head—— banks subject to Basel arent suddenly
Going to make moves- they have been working for years—- just look at the basel3 reports that come out from banks every half year
