hi aj - goldbugs hoard for a reason. they distrust the monetary system and fiat money. all fiat money throughout history has collapsed and china knows this well - better than most.

but anyway one must ask oneself as to why china, Russia, turkey, india are hoarding gold, why are the non mainstream parties in Italy calling for the gold in the central bank to be released back to the people, why are so many countries calling for repatriation of their gold reserves? why is Russia looking at a gold backed ruble as are some other. facebook on their run for a crypto etc etc

we are just one black swan from oblivion

that isn't to say that many gold bugs haven't been in on the run. many have used that to fortify their holdings
