I've heard that for years and years, and goldbugs have missed out on the longest bull market in history..
The Federal Reserve don't seem to be too worried about it, after all what would they know, right? The USA has never defaulted on its debt, so what's the problem?
Think of it this way....if you are correct, then debt holders could demand more for the perceived risk, and that means higher interest rates and a lower gold price.
