Your modus operandi is to enthusiastically go along with anything that supports the theory 'Gold is going down', therefore I expect to read a post from you soon about how the Trade War will be over quickly, the US economy will then go 'gangbusters' etc. It's that kind of (non)thinking which has lead you to state that Gold is going to USD 800 an oz.

The thing is, if Trump believes that 'winning' Trade Wars offers a path to him gain re-election, he won't hesitate to open a second front and start slapping tariffs on the European Union, particularly if he believes that will put additional pressure on The Fed.
