Trump has just announced on Friday night that he wants to reduce or stop tariffs on several different items. It came at the end of trade Friday and a little statement was made with no fanfare . It basically amounts to a capitulation of sorts in the "trade war" he said would be easy to win.
What does this mean to us? - Watch the equity markets go higher and watch Gold go sideways or lower.
Doesn't matter, because the biggest market by far is the Bond markets and they are in big trouble everywhere. This will influence precious metals more than equities.
The Gold price will take a breather for a week or two, consolidate and then move higher as the euphoria over the equity markets subsides. Could be an opportunity for a little buying if there is a significant dip.
