well said. Other poster doesn’t even understand the asset properly it can fill several functions in a portfollio hedging insurance OR investment if you want to hold mining companies / bullion.
The physical bullion has been the default currency for thousands of years. That’s not something that’s going to change because some academic didn’t bother to learn about it.
