decided to brave the afternoon heat and drove to Mt Eliza down on the Mornington Peninsula to get my hair cut. the entire suburb is experiencing a brown out. Many people standing out the front of local bars and restaurants dressed to the nines as they begin their christmas holidays, looking rather lost as all the atms and card machines are down. Along with the searing heat and dense smog drifting down from the NSW bushfires colouring the sky a dirty yellow it really did feel like a pre apocalypes... or so the goldbug in me see's it... with all that said its straight to bunnings tomorrow to get a fire proof safe and then over to westpac to with draw out a good chunk of cash to be stashed away next to a few ounces ive collected.... im just glad that cash ban hasnt yet eventuated to anything that can be enforced
