Gold's correlation to SP500 is weak. That's why it's a fantastic hedge. Gold also outperforms SP500 in risk-off environments so naturally, if you thought volatility is increasing, stocks are toppy (yes and yes), you'd overweight Gold. Don't listen to Whooters biased nonsense.
