    The Federal Reserve has all kinds of levers it can pull to fine tune the economy, I'm not an economist, but if you go the Federal Reserve website you'll find all the info you need, if you can understand it.

    It doesn't suit goldbugs though, because their tiny brains say all the Federal Reserve does is manipulate the economy and print money.
