Wrong Champ, overall it has been a sound preservation of capital for the last twenty years. In fact it's been rising continually except for about two years when it flew above the $1400 level. And compared to today the volume of trades then was very low.
The price is rising in a stable fashion on rising volume. What more could one want in these uncertain economic times.
