I went and bought some flowers for a bday gift the otherday from local florist. Pulled out 50 dollar note handed it over and the lady asked me if it was pay wave or something similar. I'm like lady i just handed you a 50 dollar note She said she has not received cash for goods in a very long time. Also i have noticed many of the cafe's around take more card payments than cash for goods. Some of them i know the owners good enough to ask them "you get more cash payment or cards" The reply has always been cards.
