Why the vitriol? A logical course of action would be to ignore those hold an opposing view, assuming you have no intention of changing your view. Why can't you just be happy with your opinion and post content supporting your opinion without resorting to dragging others opinions as an argument. There is a psychological explanation for the need to bait others and it has a lot to do with insecurity!
In real life I wouldn't give the time of day to someone who I felt had little idea on a subject and no intention of learning from others experience and knowledge on a subject. So why do you persist on dragging others into petty arguments on here? Just live happy with your opinion. I am certainly happy with my view of the economic world and golds place in it, no need to attempt to prove you or anyone wrong. I just leave you too it, a logical course of action.
