Just take a look at the NZX for example , its chart almost replicates that of Iceland's pre GFC catastrophe , real estate is amongst the most expensive in the world in one of the least densely populated parts of the planet , Auckland rates as one of the least affordable cities in the world , your countries economy is reliant on 2 banks , super funds heavily invested in the Aussie funds and an almost insolvent Italian food company . You have a GDP below that of Iraq , Columbia , Greece , Bangladesh to name a few and a socialist leader who spends more time abroad lecturing the world on their social injustices . So kudos to our Kiwi coussies who can see the writing on the wall and look beyond the bullcrap and preserve their wealth.
