Action Plan: This post is semi "tongue in cheek" : )

Buy long term food.
Get a reliable source of water and or purification system.
Get a solar panel system.
Stock up on medicines as required and all appropriate first aid supplies.
Hold some cash.
Hold some physical GOLD and SILVER.
Upgrade your home security. Try to organise with your neighbours for mutual security.

Better to be prepared and nothing happens than have something happen and not be prepared.

If nothing happens then at least you will have loads of food, pure water, solar power, plenty of medical supplies, some cash on hand, precious metals and the opportunity to have a few beers with your neighbours.
Actually doesn't sound too bad.
