This will suck the mums and dads into the market.
Now for something to consider.
China private sector gold purchases have crashed.
India demand for gold has fallen 50%.
Last year was the lowest sales of US gold eagles on record in the US.
This is while gold prices were at records in $A.
On the other hand, 2018 was huge for central bank purchases, 2019 not far behind.
ETF holdings are at a record.

What is keeping the gold market rising, let alone afloat?
The POG is rising as the $US gets stronger.
There is a clear dichotomy of views on the barbarous relic.
For the last 2 days, producers have been sliding in value.
Good reports from the junior sector are now being well rewarded.
There are undercurrents though things look relatively calm on the surface.
Not sure what the indicator will do next week. Currently taking a breather.
I would prefer not to see a lower low on the indicator. Not expecting one.
