Even I can see Powell won't have the nuts to "hike rates" (& it has nothing to do with Trump wanting negative rates...). Do you have any idea what would happen if rates were hiked? If so, please let us all know because I would be very interested.
The FED (& all CB's) have got themselves between a rock and a hard place....and I suspect you know that as well as the rest of us and I also suspect you know why Trent.
In fact, Mr Powell - if you are reading this....PLEASE, PLEASE raise interest rates....I dare you!! But he won't do it...because he also knows it would bring on such a financial collapse "the likes the world has never seen" (as Mr Trump would say).
And, Trent, what do you think would happen to the value of gold (& silver) if he rose rates?? It is going to be fun to watch and I can't wait to see the inevitable fallout.
