    US house prices aren't even close to 50% .. actually they haven't recovered to their post GFC numbers yet...

    The stock markets a good comparison I guess but is 140% a good return for those years ...

    Gold bugs investing in NST / RRL / EVN would have started at a minimum of 350% return in the same period.

    NST in that same period would have netted you 33 times your investment by just holding.
