Two big calls. I'll park the Dow 5000 comment to the side...if it truly became that bad I would expect some fudging as equally epically proportioned as such a fall (due by your count in 9-12 months) to hide the extent of the weakness from the rest of the world. The Dow is just an index after all, reliant on human input......could be 1,000 could be 100,000.....we'd question it, just like WMDs in Iraq, but we'd most likely run with what was printed by respectable news outlets.
May I ask why "next week" for $1,300? Touch or hold at that level?
I hope you are right, btw, re the $1,300, but not the 5000...............that figure has ramifications.
