Not quite sure on that bit Crom.
I'm looking to the next reporting season to be a doozy in both USA and Australia. This misses on profit/oibda/guidance withdrawn etc will draw the markets lower after this temporary stabilisation from all the money printing. Having some cash ready to pick up some great bargains come the time is something we should be planning on. There will still be markets though what shape they are in is another matter.
Holding gold here provides us that ability.
