The fiscal stimulus package reminds me of the musicians playing to the very last moment as the Titanic went down. Panic everywhere, people drowning (in debt) but the band played on.
Seems appropriate to mention that Gold and Silver are the lifeboats.
As with the Titanic and demonstrated by the physical market; there wont be enough lifeboats for all the passengers.
I just love a good metaphor.
