The winters in North America are getting colder lasting longer and are moving further south.
The past winter in the UK was colder than normal and started earlier.
Where I live in NSW and have been here for over 20 years has seen the coolest February that I can remember, in recent times anyway.
Now one february doesn't make a trend but it may be an indication of things to come.
Also the hottest decade on record still remains the 1930's
If global warming was occurring then it would have to be linear with warmer summers and warmer winters.
This definitely appears to be not the case.
