I don't mind the argy-bargy for one very good reason.
It forces you to question and back up your reasoning or rationale behind your decisions.
When I was developing my P&F charting, an associate continuously took me to task.
While the charts were great, my interpretation of them and timing left a lot to be desired.
He was correct and I have since improved my game substantially.
We were about 50/50 on our calls with his use of price/volume occasionally trumping my trending.
I have since added an A/D chart to my system. Been most useful.
Interestingly, the Dorsey interpretation which I originally adhered to generated many false positives.
If you own a company that make squillions then write a book about it, are you going to spill all the trade secrets?
That is why how I read my charts differ from the basics laid out in the book.
Been pretty good so far and took a long time for me to gather the courage to post on this site.
