Skol, what failures that bunch are. It is embarrassing. Or is it?

If one has a vested interest in people buying gold why wouldn't one post that the price is going to reach for the stars and back that up with an imaginative fundamental reason.

There is an interesting and obvious psychological aspect to forecasting big gains in anything. A price can only appreciate if there is demand at a prevailing price. It is easy to say $6,000, do those that believe that rhetoric consciously consider that somebody is prepared to buy at that price (and sell of course). Or to put it another way, a buyer will ignore the value at a $1650 price but happily stump up at $6,000!

Prices do not occur independent of the market!
