Since this lockdown Dyso has been viewing a lot more mainstream media. Dyso has noticed several instances of weird reporting. Dyso has also witnessed this over the years but really highlighted with more viewing.
eg 1 watched the ABC the other morning and they reported that gold was down from its 7 year lows!! 2 Channel 7 often report about 6 or 7 stocks each afternoon NCM usually is only reported when it is lower. The other day it was up over $3 in one day and didnt rate a mention 3 Channel 7 again. On a particularly bad day when nearly every stock was lower they did show NCM with a plus 86c but the colour was red the same as next to the other reported shares that were lower. 4 When gold has a big night rising and then opens lower in Asia nearly all the media say gold is down...just forget the 2% plus rise in US/Europe. 5 When ever gold is going vertical as has happened a few times eg just recently, brexit, Trumps election win how is it you cant access gold price sites? 6 Hotcopper still has price from yesteryear. Surprised it didnt freeze after a down day.
Dyso might get labelled a goldbug but Dyso would be happy with that because it appears gold bugs are independent thinkers and believe in a fair days pay for a fair days work and dont believe debt is income. Times have changed when people believe inflation is desirable and creating money is a good way for a modern society to operate. Dyso will go back into the shadows but we do like this style of posting.
