I suspect it would too Ez. I'm not anti-stock (far from it) but on a 'risk-adjusted' basis (bearing in mind those dividends come with company risk) the returns from gold justify having a portion of it in your portfolio.... as Skol et al will eventually (probably already have) find out to their cost.
