Good news about the vaccine, also saw some good news about patients being tested positive a 2nd time not being infectious (rather large study in S. Korea).

Nothing changes though.
-Dow was up significantly, on lower volumes than previous 2 days.
-Even in the best case scenario, vaccine would take 6-18 months, recovery will take time. A lot more money will have to be printed by then, the Fed would not dare raising interest rate for a very long time, they would probably let inflation run higher than usual and say they want inflation to "average" around the target. Inflation helps reduce the government's huge debts and they tend to prefer that over raising taxes.

So I'll be long on gold until the fed starts to think about raising interest rate which is a fair bit away. Maybe 3 or 4 years.
