I hate an economic system that thinks a little inflation is good but too much is no good. I can't find a decent pro inflation argument anywhere. No one can satisfactorily explain to me why inflation is a good thing. How does inflation benefit me?
How does low interest rates benefit me?
Inflation combined with low interest rates and money in the bank metely means people are being robbed blind.
How does a cycle of boom and bust help people? Why is a bust considered healthy?
In my view economic instability is not a good thing.
That is why I am an advocate for a return to money which is tethered to a tangible asset like Gold. The sooner this fiat rubbish is gone, the better for everyone.
