Gold up over 360% so far this century..beats real estate prices I would suggest in most places...No repairs and maintenance issues, no skyrocketing rates and taxes so anyone born in the early 80's and being in a position to, or starting to gain knowledge about saving/investing and earning by about age 20 ie in 2000, could probably not have done much better, than be invested, at least partially in gold
