Yeah, the Gold thread is a great please to come and have a laugh at a bunch of people, like shooting fish in a barrel really. They never post here, then will lob up and piously announce how everyone here is a crackpot or conspiracy theorist.

Usually we dicuss things before they actually come to pass. We'll talk about negative interest rates, helicopter money, the resumption of QE etc. And all these things have come to pass.
But the mockers don't want to hear that; still they carry on about 'conspiracy theories'.

At the end of the day, Goldbugs have been right. Gold has marched above USD 1700 an oz against a backdrop of chaos, money printing, interest rate suppression. The equity markets are a fake 'shop window' that bear no relation to what is actually happening in the economy.
