i think a lot of people here wouldnt have a problem with owning some property as a part of diversified portfolio.

the problem is the current property market in Australia is so inflated theres no value and the risk on loosing significant portions of your capital investment is too great.
rent is all fine, but whats the point if you loose on your inflated entry point.

property has not been keeping up with inflation the past couple of years, and the risk of a correction is the highest its been in a long time
