I agree. Although people are responsible for their investment decisions (many will feel the pain of those decisions over the next couple of years) It is our politicians that have given the green light to the banks to create the massive credit expansion that has led to unsustainable debt and hyper inflation in the property market in Australia and equity markets in the US.
These idiot politicians will never admit to being wrong and the tax payer will once again pick up the tab.
It's for these reasons I'm fully invested in gold and the gold miners. I think there is a long way to go for this to play out and the prices we are seeing now will look cheap in 6 to 12 months.
