My thinking is that the only reason they are wanting to introduce this is to force inflation, by any means necessary. The FED should only be using their powers for lending, not spending. Once they cross over to spending (on infrastructure, directly into stocks, directly giving money to people like a universal income ^^^) then there are only two scenarios, Stagflation or Hyperinflation.

There will be another deflationary "black swan" event which will bring this into fruition. I am looking at you bond market wink wink
