i think gold miners would like to build up their inventories with gold bars .
Some actually do, but the ones that do are kind of ' blacklisted'.
however, if they started doing that. It would lead to trouble. They would be accused of being a cartel and they would be forced to sell their BULLION.
There is an unwritten rule that they have to keep selliing their gold that they mine.
Imagine , if the big miners that vouod afford it in Australia started stockpiling bars.
Wow. I think we can all work out what would happen.
