My sister was at the Perth Mint yesterday only to find a queue at the bullion desk which stretched all the way out of the shop and into the foyer.

Three possibilities I can think of:
1. Service is very, very slow;
2. They'd just finished one of their tours and the guide pitched gold incredibly well; or
3. Folk in Perth are preparing for unusual times ahead.
