There was a big spike in 'sole trader' numbers. ie individuals trading That could mean anything. ie i quickly register as a sole trader, because i got layed off. Maybe govt handouts better that way?. Also, i heard on the grapevine that there are companies that are getting the jobkeeper because their revenue fall was enough to qualify. Even though their fall is seasonal and happens every year. Thats shocking. Just handing money out at unprecedented rates. Could be worthless soon the way its going. ps i would not pay much attention to job numbers etc at the moment. I wonder what unemployment would be if they got rid of jobkeeper? 15%-20%.? happiest are permanent unemployed. They are getting double the dole since this Virus started and probably doing a little bit on the side. Plus rent assistance etc. Santa Claus come early this year. Racking it in.
