.....fiat currencies are designed to decline in value over time. That is true and is in fact what most people want....
I'd be interested to learn where the first part of above claim comes from ? Were they actually 'designed' that way or is the experienced outcome ie their apparent ongoing loss of purchasing power more the result of their very nature ie no intrinsic value and various Government/policies/economic management/circumstances etc etc ?
I'm also not sure about the second part ie that's what most people want ?
Where does that come from/who says ? I certainly don't.
