Yes as I said it is a known feature but that doesn't necessarily mean they were 'designed' that way.
The approach and attitudes of economists, bankers and other Masters of the Universe etc are taught and they just adapt to the latest 'thinking' and that evolves and changes over time as we know. Who knows ? Maybe their current thinking, policies, approaches and attitudes will prove to be a huge blunder ??
This currency user doesn't view the ongoing loss of purchasing power as positive and I'm sure there would be many, many others thinking the same..
