I haven’t read the article but globalization that we knew is almost dead in the waters. Even economic theory had evolved so I reckon global trade will also form form different trading blocks aligned to the different sides of political divide.
We in Oz as not nation building currently, more a Mexican stare. This time it is ‘feds got your back’ regardless his hollow an economic recovery will be. The monetary authorities have already decided the outcome, now is when they craft a credible economic theory to support that narrative. Gold rally is telling me scared money isn’t buying this hollow solution. It doesn’t matter what you or I thinks is the truth, we are price followers. Leave the credible reasons for academia.
