$1864 could be on the cards (12Aug low), $1900 is just a psychological round number and in the context of the technicals does not mean much besides numerology. I still think $1820 loos like the 'stronger' support should the USD continues to strengthen. With goldies at such elevated levels TA-wise, I am not sure a falling AUD will do much to the ST profit-takers as momentum feeds upon itself as the price continues to fall and more ST traders move in to protect their recent windfall.
