Yes, I'm well aware that most on the gold forum prefer to read about how gold is an amazing 'investment', that it only goes up, and we're running out of it. Most of the posts here are like comfort toys, making goldbugs feel better about their 'stack' while ignoring the empirical evidence that unless you strike it right it's a waste of time and money.

Lloyd Blankfein certainly thinks so.
