I think it would be more accurate to describe Skol as "anti-gold bug" rather than "anti-gold". All of the arguments in favor of gold apply to a large extent to other precious metals, but Skol rarely comments on those and only in proportion to the comments promoting them (ie. a few comments on silver when people start talking about a silver moon shot or gold/silver ratio, but nothing on platinum or palladium).

In fact palladium has been a far better investment than gold. Over the last 5 years gold has gone from $1,200 to 1,860 which is +55%, and palladium has gone from $650 to $2,200 which is +240%.
