Tier 1 gold assets are becoming few and far between, the last discovery being Tropicana herein Australia. Tearing up capital in east Africa or the pacific is too risky for big players hence it's value is in its scarcity.
By any metric of what's going on in the world right now no one needs a chart or a broker to see where inflation is going over the next 5 years so we have Gold and the platinums as the only tangible assets that are truly liquid in any market situation. My view is the current price is not a reflection of the true value which is its security factor.
