You are right about how juniors respond and can behave atypically to POG.
The real difference is in how great the response is when sentiment is rising or high compared to falling or low.
A good report when sentiment is high can catapult the stock price higher.
When it is low, sometimes there is no reaction at all.
At the moment there is a significant backlog and delay in laboratory analysis.
This could be to many juniors advantage if the 'correction' in sentiment is over and begins to rise as results are released.
Have seen some producers recently add to hedges.
It is amazing how sentiment affects decision making.
Be nice to see hedges adopted when sentiment is rising/high (and CR's). Typically corresponds with POG highs.
The cyclic nature of sentiment is something to behold.
I have been somewhat surprised by how low sentiment can go in what is clearly a gold bull market. Now I know.
