Why don't you go back to say 2014/2015 for a start and see whether it held true since then ? Or maybe even longer.
I haven't checked (can't be bothered) but if I did, I'd wager a 'gold' coin there's been occasions when it's gone the other way too despite whatever 'moving averages' might 'say' ?
But happy to be corrected and I'll eagerly await provision of your incontrovertible evidence.
