I’ve been lurking this thread for some time in the hopes of learning something and I’ve got to say with the likes of skrol and some others, the topic of gold being useful as X or not is rather boring and helps no-one as obviously if the price of gold were zero, then the discussion may have merit.

isn’t there someone here that can help with the pertinent information of why we are all here and that is to find out what our investment in gold is going to do in the short term price wise so we can make some extras. We can all travel a road more profitable knowing or discussing the short term which will eventually get us to the long term safer.
