I think cheap or expensive is the wrong way of looking at it. Bitcoin is not backed by anything tangible, it's just an idea. But ideas can be very powerful. Bitcoin is just as cheap or expensive now as it was when it was $1,000 or $10,000.
Bitcoin will go up or down depending on the flow of fiat into or out of it and that will be driven by perception.
